THE CITY (town, island)
Cape Town is regularly voted as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and with good reason. With an endless number of activities, mouth-watering food and friendly locals, you’ll fall in love with the city in no time.
You’ll struggle to find a city with a more spectacular landscape than Cape Town. You can explore natural and wildlife reserves that offer an unparalleled experience. Make sure you’ve got your camera ready as you get up close and personal with some of the world’s most amazing animals and take in scenery that you can’t see anywhere else on earth.
Right in the centre of Cape Town you’ll find Table Mountain, the most iconic landmark in South Africa. It is also one of the new 7 wonders of nature and the country’s most photographed attraction.
THINGS TO DO
Cape Town offers an unbelievably diverse selection of sports activities for you to enjoy with your friends from the course. See the city by night by going on a full moon hike around Table Mountain or Lion’s Head. Hit the beach and catch some waves, Cape Town offers some of the world’s best surf spots. Take the world’s highest commercial bridge bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge!
Want a mind-blowing experience that will complete your time in the Mother City? Jump out of a plane and glide across the sky for the most sensational views imaginable!
The city has a rich heritage of vineyards, breweries and
distilleries. For all your brandy needs, head just 45 minutes outside of Cape Town to the multi award-winning distillery, Van Ryn’s. For all real ale fans, Devil’s Peak Brewery is the place for you. It boasts a brilliant tap room stocked with IPA, ales, lager and seasonal beers, all definitely worth a try. There are also an abundance of independent gin distilleries around the city.
Cape Town is not just about daytime adrenaline or sightseeing; when the sun goes down, you’ll discover the electrical Cape Town nightlife. Explore the speakeasies, chic bars and clubs along Long Street until your heart’s content. A budding bartender’s dream!
